[Makeup Tips] Smokey Eyes Makeup Tips

Getting a Sultry Look with Smokey Eyes

smokey eyes
One of the most enduring dramatic makeup looks is smokey eyes. This look can be adapted for a more neutral appearance that is acceptable for the office, or it can really make your eyes pop for a night out on the town.
Simple black eye shadow and mascara is not enough for a truly smokey look. You'll also want to have mascara, liner, and a blend of shadows to compliment your specific eye color. You can branch out from simple black eye shadow, and use a range of charcoals, grays, or other dark and sultry shades for a sexy or gothic look.
This trend shows no signs of going anywhere, so perfecting the smokey eye is a great tool to have in your makeup repertoire.

Top Techniques for Dramatic Eye Makeup

To begin the process of creating that smokey look, you will need to apply a layer of black eye liner to the edge of your eyes.

This should include rimming the upper and lower lash lines. Dark brown or charcoal could also be used in place of black, particularly if you have blue or green eyes.
You will then need to go over this with your choice of eye shadows. For the best results, a blend of three different shades is recommended.

An extra layer should be put in the crease of the eyelid for added definition. The final step is then to put on mascara. Black is again the preferred shade for mascara, but you could experiment with other dark tones if desired.

How to Do Eye Makeup for Smokey Eyes

Although the basic technique for achieving smokey eyes is described above, if you want to get the blending right there are some more tricks and techniques to think about.
You will need to prep your eye lid if you want your heavy eye makeup to keep from smudging throughout the day. A primer or base should be swept across the eye, and allowed to dry.
This will keep your lids oil-free, and prevent dark makeup from smudging or running down your face. Light base colors can be mixed with darker colors on top. Be sure to blend everything thoroughly.

Dramatic Eye Makeup Tricks

If you are blending color on the bottom lid of your eye, you will need to use an eyeliner pencil on the lower lashes. These are the easiest to smudge for that smokey look. Draw a line below your lash line and then smudge this with your finger.
A key trick to blending is to keep your lines from being too perfect. While this can be an easy technique once you have mastered it, when you are just starting out it may take a little bit of time and practice to get everything just right.

Try this ladies.. and GOOD LUCK!! :*

[Makeup Tips] Eye Makeup Tips

Tricks of the Trade for Everyday Wear

eye makeup tips
Hi gorgeous!! Understanding a few different eye makeup tips can greatly improve the way you look to yourself and to other people. While eye makeup may seem like nothing more than some shadow and some black mascara, there are some steps to the process that can change everything.
Whether you spend most of your days at home with the kids or you’re out fighting the sharks of the corporate world, you can benefit from some of the free eye makeup tips listed below.

Highlighting

To draw attention to your eyes and give you a youthful glow, you should try adding some highlights in your eye makeup. There are highlighting shadows you can use for this, but standard white eye shadow usually works fine.
Put a little of this in each of your tear ducts and right under your brow line. This will make you look awake and ready to start the day.

Defining

If you want to really define your eyelids, you should use a darker colored eye shadow on the inside crease of your eyelid so that it makes that crease look deeper than it actually is. This is one of the dramatic eye makeup tips people often forget about, but it can make a big difference in the way a person’s eyes pop.
You can use this for smoky or natural looking eyes that you may want to stand out in the crowd. All you need is some good shadow to get started.

Lining

eye makeup tips
When you start learning about applying eye makeup, you have to realize the significance eye liner has on the way a woman’s makeup looks as a whole. Eyeliner draws emphasis to the edge of the eye and can work to help the mascara look even darker than it already is.
It is quick to use, ease to work with, and great for making a wow factor out of nothing.

Finishing

Mascara is the way to finish off any great eye makeup looks. When you learn how to do eye makeup properly, you will see how much of a difference mascara can make on a person’s eyes. It can elongate the lashes and make them look fuller as well. Start using your mascara in multiple layers, and apply it from the roots of the lashes outward.

A Square face shape has a square and bony defined jawline and almost is the same width as the forehead. Shape your brows more of a curve arch.

The best of the luxury haute couture clothing brands around the world influences the fashion industry. They are the real trendsetters, stars and magicians in the world of fashion. They can effortlessly make a grotesque look alluring and can easily transform a geek into a fashion icon. When money is no object, these luxury clothing brands are most definitely your hottest commodity. I can bet that, there is not even a single shopaholic out there who is not “madly” in love with the best of the clothing brands in the world.

What these brands create for there clientele are not just clothes or shoes or bags, they create something which is much greater than art. Their creativity gives individuality to your existence, injects confidence in your soul and speak a great deal about your personality even when a word doesn’t come out of your mouth. The love and respect I have in my heart for the legends behind these brands like Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, Donatella Versace, Frida Giannini, Yves Saint Laurent, Oscar De La Renta and many more, makes it extremely difficult for me to choose one on another. However, taking into consideration their commitment for perfection and excellence, I’ve minutely compiled the list mentioned below of the ten best luxury clothing brands in the world. So let’s have a look on which luxury brands are leading the very fascinating fashion industry.

10. Dolce & Gabbana –

Dolce & Gabbana is an Italian luxury fashion house established in the year 1982 by Domencio Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. In today’s luxury fashion industry, Dolce & Gabbana are unarguably the most influential and leading designers who have made the modern woman look fantastically sexy. Their sweet and sharp style is very popular among the best dressed celebrities around the world. Together these two immensely skillful designers have created the best, most flattering clothes and mesmerizing fragrances. I have tried as much as I could, but it is real difficult to circumscribe the D & G universe in few sentences as their versatility and dedication is something which cannot be explained in words.

9. Armani –

Giorgio Armani is an Italian designer who taught the world that “Elegance is not about being noticed, it’s about being remembered.” He along with Sergio Galeotti formed a high-end label “Armani” in 1975, and by 2001, he became the most successful designer to come out of the worlds’ fashion capital – Italy. Armani has become one of the strongest luxury fashion brand in the world, and there are many sub-brands under the umbrella brand of Giorgio Armani like Emporio Armani, Armani Jeans, Armani Exchange, Armani Collezioni and Casa to cater the specific needs of different market segments. Built on the dynamic personality of Giorgio Armani himself, this fashion house is the most respected brand in the fashion industry, and this is the reason why it is not leaving the spotlight anytime soon.

8. Versace –

Founded by a true fashion rock star Gianni Versace in 1978, Versace today is the leading international luxury clothing and one of the most influential fashion houses in the world. The bold as brass Gianni was a freelance designer who consistently challenged the boundaries of fashion industry. His sharp cuts, vivid prints and offbeat fabrics beautifully integrated high art and contemporary culture. After Gianni’s sudden death in 1997 by a spree killer, his sister Donatella Versace took over all the attention and responsibility as a new creative director of the brand. Although Gianni was a gifted designer and world can never forget him but he represents Versace’s past whereas Donatella is already Versace’s successful present and bright future.

7. Gucci –

Gucci was founded by Guccio Gucci in the early 1920’s in a small shop in Florence. He never dreamed of Gucci becoming the biggest selling Italian brand in the history when he first laid down the foundation of this fashion house. His eldest son, Aldo Gucci took over in the 1940s and transformed the lesser-known family business into an iconic luxury brand that carries such cultural significance. After Aldo it was his son Paolo Gucci who introduced the exotic ready-to-wear segment in the year 1960s which soon became a mainstream of Italian art. In 1994, a very young visionary designer, Tom Ford who is a perfect blend of sensuality and class became Gucci’s creative director. He made Gucci a globally recognised brand with his hip and cutting-edge designs for which Gucci is a celebrated luxury brand.

6. Burberry –
Burberry is a luxury British brand established in the year 1856 by the young visionary designer Thomas Burberry who designed the very first now-iconic trench coat for which this fashion house is very famous. Christopher Bailey, the creative director of Burberry has kept the trendsetting legacy of the house alive with his regular infusion of unique style in the timeless standards of quality. Burberry was granted a royal warrant for clothing from Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of England and Prince Charles of Wales. Since its inception, Burberry has been a real force for innovation and British sensibility as its motto Prorsum , on its knight and horse logo bears witness.

5. Hermès –

Established in the year 1837 by Thierry Hermès, this 176 year old brand is a major player in ready-to-wear fashion and with time it is aging like a fine wine. Hermès is without a doubt one of the most sort-after French fashion house in the lexicon of luxury goods and its fierce commitment to the quality has made it a brand par excellence. The lifeline of Hermès is its tradition of giving a personal touch to every item they sell in order to maintain a level of consistency for which they have out rightly rejected the mass manufacturing, assembly lines and mechanization. Each and every produce is fabricated from start till the end by one artisan only to make sure their final offering is impeccable and one of its last kind.

4. Dior –

Christian Dior, a French couturier founded the house of Dior in 1947 with his debut collection in which he presented revolutionary ninety different looks for the women who starved for glamour. His “New Look” collection was so magical that after the show his face was pink with kisses and he couldn’t believe for days that he received such a huge response in his very first show. Almost everything he created was booked even before the show ended because the primary purpose of his collection was to make every women look like a duchess. After Christian Dior’s death in 1957, Yves Saint Laurent took over the couture house and even he was an instant success followed by Marc Bohan to Gianfranco Ferré and John Galliano. Today, Dior’s cultural heritage is in the hands of the very promising Raf Simons who has a fresher take on femininity and soft palette.

3. Prada –

The beautiful journey of Prada started way back in 1913 by Mario Prada and has since become one of the most prestigious and widely recognised brands in the fashion industry. Every brand has a DNA: at Burberry it is class, at Hermès it is excellence, at Dior it is elegance and at Prada it is prestige. Prada today is a multi-billion dollar company headed by Mario Prada’s grand daughter Miuccia Prada who took over the brand in 1978 from her mother Luisa Prada. Miuccia is known for her magic touch from the very beginning, and her collection is indeed the one to watch. The reason why this brand is set apart from the rest of the fashion world is because it has never followed styles and patterns but has always invented something sophisticated and trendy. If someone wants to know what a season is all about then it is advised not to miss fashion’s premier trend trailblazer Prada’s show.

2. Chanel –

In the fashion industry, everything starts from Chanel and ends on Chanel. The interlocking C is a beloved logo of women all over the world. Founded by “Coco Chanel” – the Goddess of fashion, style, class, sensuality and beauty in the year 1920, the brand exalted elegance to the extreme. Coco Chanel is a pioneering French fashion designer who revolutionised the way women dress. She started the trend of menswear- inspired fashion and released women from their stiff corsets. When she launched her signature fragrance Chanel No. 5 which remains popular to this date, she became sensation and when she gave birth to the little black dress, she became immortal. Today, the most influential brand of the luxury clothing industry is in the hands of a living legend, Karl Lagerfeld who is born to reign the world of fashion.

1. Louis Vuitton –

Founded in the year 1854, Louis Vuitton is the ultimate French fashion house synonymous with perfection, sophistication, excellence and style. Louis Vuitton, the man who became a global brand started his journey in 19th century Paris as a trunk maker and with his skills in wood craft he created the best luxury trunks the world ever saw. Hello Pretty..

Today I'm back with Kpop Inspired makeup tutorial. This is 1st post of makeup tutorial on December. I want to give you the fresh and sexy look. After gooling, i found this gorgeous look from Rania Tae "Just Go" Pic teaser. She is soooo prettyyyy <3 She both cute and sexy >//< haha..

Seee??? Seeee?? SEE????
She's Cute!!! YEAH! *okay forget about that i know everyone already knew it XD lol
Let's get started...............

Here's the Steps :

1. Actually i want to skip writing this step coz this is very basic. But you can't go to the next steps without this step. yeah.. clean up your face 1st and apply your favourite makeup base and foundation/BB cream. (i usually used CC cream and BB cream from Etude house ><)
2. Cover up your dark spots or pimple using concealer ( i used Banana concealer stick from Skinfood).
3. Apply powder all of your face. (and if you have chubby cheeks, do contour. it helps a lot :p)
4. Move on the eyes. Put on your brown eyeshadow both of your eyes. i use the colour "buck" and "dark horse" by Naked palette. Apply the buck colour 1st all over your lid and then put the dark horse colour only on outer eye corner and blend it out. *apply the buck color under the eyes too. and apply the "virgin" colour of the naked palette to highlight the eye corner. ("buck" : smooth brown colour, "dark horse" : dark brown, "virgin" : shimmery white *or something like that XD)
5. For the eyeliner, Tae has a strong round black eyeliner - so apply your black eyeliner and create a nice wings at the end, bottom eyes also. (if u dont understand how to apply eyeliner, read my previous post about "how to apply eyeliner")
6. Apply natural falselashes and also for your under eyes.
7. Cheeks, Put your soft colour of blush coz Tae only focus on her eyes and sexy lips, her cheeks didnt look too strong.
8. Lips, this lips is similar like Minah's lips on my previous makeup tutorial which is she used gradation of red colour on her lips. To make the gradation, apply your stick concealer on your mouth line and blend it out. and then apply your red liptint on the inner lips only. *this is optional, u can use lipgloss to shine the colour*
9. To complete this look, put on your individual red crystal sticker and applied it on your right eye.

Then you're Done!!!
This is simple and suits to start your miracle December!! <3

My final look......

Hahahaha.... okay i know i'm not cute like Tae XD
But nice try! :p  LOL

Try this and good luck, gorgeous!!
Have a blessed day :*

[Make-Up Tips] How to apply eyeliner

HELLO GORGEOUS!
<3
I'm back with several tips about eyeliner. ofcourse this is an important thing of makeup look. Eyeliner makes a huge difference. it can take the look of a basic eye makeup application to a look that accentuates your lashes and enriches the shape of your eye. Eyeliner can be sexy, elegant, or subtle, but it also can be harsh, overly dramatic, or sloppy. it all depends on how you apply it.

Recommended Eyeliner Brushes

Applying eyeliner to maximize your eye contour and size takes a bit of experimenting, but once you've mastered it, eyeliner will take your makeup look to a whole new level. Below we explain everything you need to know about how to select and apply the right eyeliner to complete your look!

3 Basic Decisions to Make Before You Apply Eyeliner

1. Choose Your Colors Carefully

One of the most beautiful things about eyeliner is how it adds depth to your lashes and makes them appear thicker. For best results, choose shades of dark brown, gray, deep plum, or black for the upper lid. For the lower lash line, use a softer variation of the same shade. Stay away from brightly colored or pastel eyeliners! They tend to draw attention to the color rather than to your lashes.

2. Use a Powder, Pencil, Gel, Cream, or Liquid Eyeliner

What type of eyeliner you use is purely a personal choice. Each has pros and cons you need to know before shopping:
  • Powder eyeshadow works well as eyeliner as long as you use a small, fine-tip pointed brush so you can be precise. Using powder eyeshadow as your eyeliner can achieve a softer look than you can with other types of liners. You can use the powder shadow either wet (for a more dramatic effect) or dry (for a softer look). Be sure to tap any excess powder off the brush before lining; that reduces the risk of getting specks of powder eyeshadow on your cheek.
  • Pencil eyeliners tend to smear and smudge, unless you find a really good one that isn't too creamy or too slick. Opt for a retractable pencil versus one that requires sharpening. After applying the pencil eyeliner, apply a small amount of eyeshadow or pressed powder over it to help keep it from smearing. Pencil eyeliners tend to have the shortest wear time, so applying powder over it can help quite a bit.
  • Gel or cream-to-powder eyeliners offer superb application and deep color payoff. The main complaints are (1) that you have to wash the brush applicator after every use to prevent the gel or cream from hardening on the brush hairs and (2) that the look is too intense. If you don't find those to be problems, then gel and cream eyeliners are an excellent way to go. Because they don't smear, they are especially great for anyone with oily eyelids or for use in humid climates.
  • Liquid eyeliner is the most dramatic and, typically, the most difficult to apply. It takes a steady hand, but it also offers the most precise and defined line. Look for liquid liner that comes with a thin, fine-point or felt-tip brush for impressive results! If you make a mistake with liquid liner, wait for it to dry, remove it with a cotton swab dipped in makeup remover, and try again.

3. Determine if You Want a Thick or Thin Line

As a general rule, the thickness and intensity of the eyeliner should correlate with the size of your eyelid—the larger the eyelid area, the thicker yet softer the eyeliner should be. The smaller the eyelid area, the thinner and more intense the liner should be. If your eyelid doesn't show at all, you might want to consider forgetting about lining altogether. Instead, use a neutral deep eyeshadow shade to shape your eye (lid and crease area) and use an eyelash curler and several coats of mascara to define your eyes.

How to Apply Eyeliner

If you don't have a steady hand, bend down or sit down so you can place your elbow on a table or counter for balance and control. Some makeup artists suggest dotting eyeliner along the base of your lashes, others prefer to use one fluid stroke, following the curvature of the eye. Both methods can provide beautiful results and can be combined for an even more dramatic look.

Application Tips for the Upper Lash Line:

  • Apply eyeliner as close to the lash line as possible, and place it between each and every eyelash. It's best to apply liner after your eyeshadow to create a defined, solid line. It's also best to use a magnifying mirror so you can be sure you get the liner between each eyelash. This is a time-consuming process, but the effect is sensational!
  • To start, keep the line as thin as possible. If you desire a thicker line, you can always build up to it, but it's much easier to add liner than it is to remove what's already there.
  • If the outer corners of your eyes droop, make sure the eyeliner turns up ever-so-slightly. This will create a more youthful look that de-emphasizes the downturned corners.
  • To add drama, line the outer corner more thickly. Start with a thin line on the inner corner of the lash line and gradually make it thicker toward the back third of the lid for an attractive, classic look.
  • Do not extend the liner much past the outer corner of your eye and don't hug the teardrop area of the eye. It's OK if the line goes just slightly beyond the corner of your eye, but much more than that makes it look too theatrical.

Application Tips for the Lower Lash Line:

  • Line only the outer two-thirds of the eye. Leaving some space unlined on the inside corner of your eye gives a softer, less severe look. For a more dramatic look, you can line all the way across, but be careful because this doesn't look good on everyone.
  • Make sure that the eyeliner on the lower lash line connects with the back corner of the upper lash line. This creates a more natural, cohesive look.
  • Apply a thin, soft line. Heavy liner on the lower lash line ends up looking like your mascara has smeared.

6 Major Eyeliner Mistakes to Avoid

  1. Don't overdo eyeliner. It should blend well with the rest of your eye-makeup design, not overpower it.
  2. Avoid lining the inside rim of the lids, the area between the lashes and the eye itself. That kind of application looks good only for about an hour or two; after that, it smears and goops up into the corner of the eye, creating a messy, unattractive look. As you might suspect, it's also unhealthy for the cornea when it happens on a regular basis.
  3. Don't apply thick eyeliner to small or close-set eyes. It will only exaggerate the smallness or closeness.
  4. Avoid applying a complete circle of eyeliner around the eye. Circling all the way around your eye can make it look like you're wearing eyeglasses, emphasizing the eyeliner more than the eye itself.
  5. Don't overblend your eyeliner onto the skin under the lower lash line. That will make dark circles look worse.
  6. Don't apply mascara before you apply eyeliner. For best results, always apply your mascara after you apply your eyeshadow and eyeliner. This way you're less likely to overdo the mascara to compensate for a lack of depth and definition along the lash line. It also prevents you from disturbing the mascara and subsequently causing it to flake.

GOOD LUCK BEAUTY <3
