[Review] Skincare - PASJEL (Bring Back Your Baby Skin!)

Pasjel is now in Malaysia!

I have exciting news for everyone and that is the arrival of Pasjel here in Malaysia!!! This will be an introductory post of some sort where I'd share what this brand is all about, since I don't see a lot of posts in English about it. This is based on what I've read and observed, feel free to comment if you wish to point out something wrong.

What is Pasjel?

Pasjel is a popular skincare brand from Thailand offering several products which are mostly for skin whitening. Their tagline, "Bring Back Your Baby Skin," speaks about what their products promise to deliver.

The owner and endorser of this brand is Pasjel Natchanan but several Thai celebrities and famous personalities also endorse Pasjel products, showing how effective they are. Contributing to the success of the brand is the fact that it can be distributed by anyone for it's not just a brand that you can get simply from an outlet or the mall.

How did I find out about Pasjel?

(OT: I want her bangs ã…‹)
I don't know Thai but I first encountered this brand from @nannyy at Instagram. Nanny is a popular VJ in Thailand which I didn't know when I initially followed her on IG. I randomly saw a picture of her on the popular page and thought she was really pretty. I was so envious of her flawless, white skin and I wondered, WHAT'S HER SECRET?!

Apparently, the secret to her skin is indeed, Pasjel! She endorses it on her IG once in a while and she's even a distributor of the brand thru @pasjel_nannyy at IG.

Why should I get Pasjel?

I thought of getting one because I was getting frustrated that my skincare products stopped working on me and my skin is currently in a bad state. I have acne scars so I needed to treat my skin asap!

Out of all their products, it was the Cherry Tender Night Cream that caught my eye because of the benefits it promises to deliver. It was exactly what I needed for my troubled skin!

What else do they offer?

Pasjel also offers other variants targeting specific skin problems. I'll let the pictures talk for themselves :]

They have newer products in the market but I'm not completely aware of them yet. Don't worry because I'll be updating this post once I've gotten the information needed.

Where can I buy Pasjel?

Like what I said previously, I don't speak Thai so it was hard to begin my purchase. I planned on ordering from Nanny (@pasjel_nannyy) since they shipped internationally but I'm afraid the shipping fee might be too high. I looked for online shops from the Malaysia that carries Pasjel but they seem shady (I already had bad experiences with online shops so I was apprehensive).

Just when I was about to give up, Pasjel Malaysia popped up on my timeline! They are an authentic distributor of Pasjel products which are fairly priced. Follow them on their respective social media accounts for inquiries, reservations or orders:
Not their actual logo which makes me want to make one XD
Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/pasjelmalaysia
E-mail: pasjelmalaysia@gmail.com
Instagram: @pasjelmalaysia

At that time I discovered them, they were accepting reservations and without thinking twice, I reserved my very own Pasjel Set. I was glad that I didn't have to worry about the shipping fee nor the mode of payment

And here is the price and promotion of Pasjel Malaysia :

.

Very very recommended skincare ever!!! Get yours and bring back your Baby skin!! <3
I'm in love with this products!!

Me and Pasjel :

Enjoy this Review..
Stay Gorgeous!! <3

Have a blessed day!

[Makeup Tips] 8 Makeup Tips for a Successful 1st Date

Hello beautiful..
Saturday Night is upcoming! are you ready for the 1st Date?

Your job, on the first date, is to represent yourself accurately and in the best possible light. You want to be yourself, but in such a way that you emphasise all your great attributes and underplay the ones you’re not so keen on. Your makeup should follow from this principle as well. You don’t want to be unrecognisable beneath a thick mask of face paint, but rather to use your cosmetics subtly to highlight your best features. In short, you’re going for a variation on the natural look; a balance between fresh-faced pretty and understated glam. To help you hit the right note, I’ve compiled a list of 8 makeup tips for a successful first date.

1. Lay the Foundations

The key to a fantastic natural-looking face is, almost paradoxically, expertly applied foundation. Begin with a concealer in a shade that matches your colouring and use it to cover dark circles and blemishes. Over this, apply a semi-sheer liquid foundation to the necessary areas – remember to double check that the product matches your skin tone in natural light.

2. Powder Power

If you have an oilier skin, or you tend to shine-up under pressure, gently dab your T Zone with a light, loose powder. This will counteract that infamous greasy look and help to keep your skin even and smooth when the nerves kick in. Using a big soft brush, sweep a bronzing powder lightly over your cheek bones, under your jaw line and in the hollows of you eyes – this infuses warmth throughout your face and prevents your foundation from taking on that undesirable, unnatural mask effect.

3. Illuminator

With a translucent, liquid illuminator, highlight the arches of your brow bones, and define your cheeks and jaw. In addition to the subtle bronzer, this will keep your makeup ‘alive,’ and help you to avoid that heavy, dead-pan look.

4. Mascara

Apply a coat of good quality, non-clumping mascara. If you’re looking for a little drama, go for black, and if you’re keen to keep your look as natural as possible, a chocolate brown will give you a softer effect, more appropriate for a daytime date.

5. Understated Eyes

First date makeup, as we’ve established, is about enhancing your natural good looks. Don’t be tempted do defect from this strategy when it comes to your eye shadow; save the smouldering, smoky look for later, and leave the glitter firmly in it’s pot. Choose a neutral palette that complements your colouring and apply with a light touch.

6. Brows

It’s a good idea to get your brows professionally groomed a few days before your date. This way they’ll be looking their absolute best when the important hour rolls around. Using a brow pencil in the appropriate shade and a short bristled brow brush, subtly fill in any natural gaps, and make sure every hair is lying in the right place.

7. Liner

If you’re keen to emphasise your eyes, slide eyeliner in a dark colour onto the inside lower rim – I always go for a rich brown, but you might opt for a more dramatic black. You might also consider white as a possible option; it’ll open up your eye for a fresh-faced, natural effect.

8. Lips

Arguably the most important feature of your ‘date face,’ you should take some time to get your lips looking fab. Buff off any dry skin by gently brushing with a soft-bristled toothbrush, and apply a softening balm to ensure a smooth, healthy pout. When it comes to colour, go for a sheer, tinted gloss over a matte lip stick. This kind of product draws just enough attention to the mouth to be sexy, but is also firmly in keeping with the principle of understated glam.

****

The most important thing to remember about first date makeup is that you should never disappear behind it. Rather, it should disguise your little flaws while subtly highlighting your good features so that the overall effect is one of genuine, natural beauty.

So are you ready for the 1st date? keep cam, stay elegant and be pretty ^^
Good luck beautiful :* <3

[Beauty Tips] How to Apply False Eyelashes

Do u guys love to wear false eyelashes? or maybe you didn't know how to apply it?

I love false eyelashes!!!! <3 <3
False Eyelashes can make your eye more stronger and pretty. Based on your character. This false eyelashes is simple thing but sometimes hard to apply for the beginner actually. So, what should we know?

Do you often spend hours in front of the mirror trying to apply fake eyelashes, only to have them fall off after a few hours or stick out at strange angles? And this is the tips and trick that given by New York City-based makeup artist Belinda Zollo about the best way to apply and remove fake lashes.
And this is the steps :

STEP 1: Before you start to apply, measure the length of the false lash to make sure it fits your eye shape. This will avoid the corner drooping or worse, the end poking into your eye. If the strip needs be shortened, cut the outer edge completely off with small nail scissors.
STEP 2: Take both edges of the false lash and bend them in to create a C shape and hold for a couple of seconds.  That's the best way to take out the straightness and ensure it molds to our curved eye shape and stays put without the corners lifting up. Just this alone will make the rest of the process effortless.
STEP 3: Apply a high quality glue for long lasting results, not the glue that comes with the pack! If you have a steady hand, you can squeeze straight from the tube onto the strip. Or an easier trick is to put glue on a cotton swab or a toothpick and glide it across the lash strip. Make sure to be generous at both the inner and outer corner so the glue won't unstick when you blink.
STEP 4: Wait 10 seconds or so for the glue to become more tactile and sticky before placing onto your own lash line. Blow on the glue or gently wave the lash around in the air to speed this up. This is the best way to keep the strip from slipping around while you're trying to line it up properly.
STEP 5: Apply the lash to the base of your natural lash line on top of your actual lashes, not on the eyelid at all. The glue dries clear so don't worry if it gets messy.
STEP 6: Apply mascara last so you can integrate the natural lashes with the false ones, making sure they mesh into each other.

DONE!!! ^_^

[TIP: If you see a gap showing on the eyelid skin between your own lashes and the false ones, don't pull off the strip and start again. You can just fill in the gap with either black liquid eyeliner or eye shadow to hide it.]

B: What's the best way to remove false lashes?
Always remove false lashes before taking off rest of your eye makeup. First pre-soften the glue with a cotton swab that's been soaked in an oily makeup remover. Use a dabbing motion along the lash line. This loosens the glue up and breaks down the strength and stickiness. While your eyes are open, take hold of the false lashes at tips of the outer corner. Then close your eyes and slowly, slowly peel them away from your own lashes, working from outer to inner corner—towards the nose.
B: Are the cheaper lashes just as good as more expensive brands?
Generally, no. The very cheap ones can rip easily when you're taking them out of the packet and the hair strands can bend in the wrong places. Or sometimes they don't bend along the band which will make the corners lift off. Totally frustrating. Another main difference between cheap and expensive is the quality of the hair. Expensive ones are made from real hair and sometimes it's the fancy, unique design you're paying extra for. Plus, if you are careful when removing them, you can re-use them a few times and get more value this way. With cheaper brands, you may not be able to use the lashes more than once.
B: Can wearing false lashes damage your real eyelashes in any way?
No, false lashes and appropriate glues don't have any damaging risks. But rough removal of lashes will run the risk of pulling your own hairs out.
B: Is it okay to wear them at the beach or while you're swimming?
It's totally fine to wear false lashes to the beach. Being in water up to your shoulders is okay, but actually putting your head underwater is not ideal. Water can loosen the glue's adhesive. If I have sticky residue when I am applying a strip, I actually use a tiny bit of water on a cotton swab to un-stick the glue.

So now you guys already know, right? it's easy actually but just need more practice.

Good Luck!! <3

[Beauty Tips] How to Contour your Face

Chubby Cheeks? Want to look slimmer? Contour your face!

That’s all we’re doing here! It creates the illusion of a stronger jawline, more chiseled cheeks and a slimmer face. And the easiest way to do this is by drawing the letter E on each side of your face to contour and the letter C on each side of your eyes. Anyone can do that, right?

Okay let's try this..

STEPS:
  1. After you’ve applied your foundation all over your face and neck but before any powder, dip your brush into the cream bronzer/darker foundation to load it up.
  2. Swirl the brush on the back of your hand to take away some of the intensity.
  3. Start at the middle of the top of your hairline and begin the letter E by tracing along the perimeter down to your temple.
  4. Suck in your cheeks to see exactly where your cheekbones are then continue the middle prong of the letter E by sweeping the brush from your temple to just underneath the cheekbone (to hollow it out).
  5. Go back along the underside of your cheekbone to the ear then down to your jawline. Finish the E by sweeping the brush just on and underneath the jawline. I like to also fill in the whole neck to really shade it, but I have profile issues and do anything I can to make mine more pronounced!
  6. Repeat on the other side.
  7. Now swirl off any remainder on a tissue or the back of your hand and use the same brush to fill up with the cream highlighter.
  8. Draw the letter C by holding the brush in the middle of your forehead just above your brow and outlining the eye all the way to your temple then down under your eye just above your cheekbone. This will pull that area forward and really highlight your eyes.
  9. Repeat on the other side.
  10. Take the dry blush brush and go back over the E’s and C’s in swirling motions to really blend it into the skin. You could also use a Beauty Blender sponge to do this.
  11. Finish by grabbing the angled contour brush and going over the E with the bronzing powder and the C with the highlighting powder.

And~~~~~ Wholaaaaaaaa~

Okay girls good luck!! <3
Have a blessed day!

OMBRE HAIR 2013

HOW TO OMBRE YOUR HAIR BY YOUR SELF/ AT HOME :

Part 1: Getting Started

1
Select your color. Ombre hair is meant to look hip and sophisticated - like the middle man between grown out roots and a dip dye. Therefore, you should choose a color that works well with your hair when faded gradually into your natural color. Your roots will be darker, so the available options are a lighter shade of brown, a shade of red/auburn, or a shade of blonde.

There are two types of ombre: traditional, and reverse. The traditional ombre has a lighter color at the tips of your hair than at the roots, while a reverse ombre has darker tips and lighter roots.
Avoid choosing a color that is drastically different from your own, unless you have long hair which gives you the necessary length to fade the two colors into each other.
The more subtle the color change, the more natural and sun-kissed your hair will appear.
Whenever possible, look for mild or all-natural dyes that will be less damaging to your hair.
2
Decide where you want the fade to stop. Equally important as the color selection is choosing where your natural color and dyed color will meet. The lower down your hair the two meet, the safer your look will be. Having the two colors meet too high has you run the risk of looking like you have grown-out roots, rather than a beautiful ombre. In general, the jawline is a good place to have the two tones meet, and you can add more color later if you’re unhappy having the ombre stop so low.[1]
3
Put on a smock or an old t-shirt. There is a good chance that you will get bleach or dye onto your clothes during the process. An artist or styling smock should help prevent this, though. If you do not have a smock to throw on, change into an old t-shirt that you can get dirty. Additionally, you will need to wear a pair of rubber/latex surgical gloves.

Part 2: Bleaching Your Hair

1
Mix your bleach. Unless you are doing a reverse ombre, you will need to use bleach to lift the color from your hair. There is the option of using blonde hair dye - which is safer on your strands - but it doesn’t lift as much color so your end-result will be much more subtle. The easiest and cheapest at home bleach method is to use 20 volume peroxide and powdered bleach. Mix 2oz of the 20 volume peroxide until they are completely combined into a creamy mixture.

Always mix the bleach in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling too much of the fumes.
2
Divide your hair into sections. Part your hair down the middle so that it is split half-and-half. Then, divide both halves into as many sections as you feel comfortable with. At the very least, you should divide each half into half again, splitting your hair into quarters. If you are not accustomed to dyeing your hair, though, you could also consider dividing your hair into six or eight smaller sections. Pin or tie each section off to separate it from the rest.

3
Choose an application tool. If you’re using a dye or bleach kit, chances are you were provided with a small brush to apply the bleach. If not, a small toothbrush or similar soft, small brush will work well for application.

4
Begin bleaching your hair. Add bleach starting at the ends and working your way up to the desired fade line. Don’t feel like you need to work fast or to work in large sections; work in such a way that you get all the strands evenly coated with the lightening product.
5
Add a second coat of bleach. To get the gradual fade, a second coat of bleach must be layered over the first coat, but only at the tips. Do the second layer about halfway up the first to accomplish this.
6
Let the bleach set. Depending on how light you want your hair to be, you will need to let the bleach set for anywhere from 10-45 minutes. For a slight change in color, leave the bleach in for only 10-20 minutes. For a more bold change in color, leave the bleach for 40-45 minutes.
In order to avoid the brassy color that bleach can sometimes cause in hair, it is necessary to let it sit for only a little bit of time, or a lot.[2]
7
Wash out the bleach. Keeping your gloves on, rinse out the bleach with warm water and a sulfate-free shampoo. Be sure to get out all the bleach, or else experience a platinum blonde accident. Add a deep conditioner to add a bit of nutrients to your now-stripped hair when you are finished.

Part 3: Coloring Your Hair

1
Section off your hair once more. Divide your hair into its original sections. Tie off the ends with elastic bands or hair clips to make your dying job a bit easier. Use at least 2-3 sections, or as many more as you need to feel comfortable.

2
Prepare your color. Most box hair dyes require a bit of measuring and mixing, so follow the instructions that it came with and prepare your dye. You should put on a second pair of latex gloves at this point as well.
3
Brush in your color. Follow the application instructions for your hair dye to properly add it to your hair. If you’re dying your hair with a traditional ombre (lighter ends), then apply the hair dye to all the bleached sections of hair and just a bit further up your strands as well. If you’re doing a reverse ombre, add the color just up to the color fad line, and then a second heavier coat near the tips (similar to the bleach application).

4
Let the color set. Wait the allotted amount of time for your hair dye to set, as per the box instructions. Typically you leave the dye in for longer to get a more bold/significant color change. You may need to cover your hair with a shower cap or other covering to help the dye set at this time as well.
5
Wash out the hair color. Rinse your hair well with warm water in the shower, with a sulfate-free shampoo. Bleaching/coloring your hair can be very damaging, so take the time to do one or two wash-throughs with a deep conditioner to help add some moisture back to your locks.

6
Dry and style your hair as per usual. With your hair being a tad fried from the chemical dye, it may be best to allow it to air-dry and avoid any hot tools. However, if you’re like most of us you’ll want to blow dry your hair right away and get it looking back to normal. Doing this also allows you to determine if you’ve gotten the color you want, or if you need to do some touching up post-dye.
